MM Law Family & Divorce Lawyers
Mary is one of the founding partners of MM Law and practices exclusively in family and divorce law. With over a decade of experience in family law, Mary has earned a reputation for providing compassionate, results-driven counsel to clients navigating difficult personal and legal transitions.
After obtaining her Juris Doctor from Windsor Law in 2010, Mary articled at a national law firm where she obtained experience in business, intellectual property, and advocacy. She was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada as well as the Law Society of Alberta in 2011. Thereafter, she worked both as in-house counsel as well as in private practice.
Mary has represented clients in the Alberta Court of Justice, Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and Court of Appeal of Alberta in a broad range of family law issues including parenting, child support, spousal support, and property division.
In addition to representing clients in court and her trial work experience, Mary has a proven track record of successfully mediating disputes (helping clients reach amicable solutions) and successfully representing clients in arbitrations (helping clients secure finality), while minimizing the emotional and financial toll of lengthy litigation.
Her practice is centered on offering clear legal advice and devising tailored strategies that prioritize the best interests of families, whether in negotiations, settlements, or courtroom representation. As an advocate for her clients’ rights, Mary takes a client-centered approach, ensuring each case is handled with care, compassion, sensitivity, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.
